   Mark Whyatt's Blurbs
About me:
OK, so what about me... I'm a singer-songwriter/guitarist in an alt.folk kind of vein. As well as the very occasional solo adventure I also play noisy guitar in Huddersfield's legendary Alt. Folkers Bar the Shouting, as well as fronting the less well known Roaring 40s. I co-facilitate (big words!) children's singing workshops as the Big Sing for Little People. I also sing as half of a duo with the fantastic Emily Fretwell.

next week I'm doing a gig at Bar 122 in Hudds on Monday (3rd March) with Scottish folkies the Doghouse Roses and Tea for One. This will be a standard acoustic folky thing and you and yours would be most welcome.
However, more controversially, we are venturing to the realms of the unknown on Wednesday night (5th March) with the first of our House concerts. It will be radical loony leftist posturing and punk rock in my living room featuring Dave Hughes, Tom Frampton, Al Baker and me. All have myspace sites where you can check them out, and you would be most welcome to come and bring a bottle and/or tuck into my homebrew. It's pay what you like, but about three or four quid is recommended, and you will need to email me beforehand to book your precious tickets.
If you know of anyone else who would be interested, please pass on the details,
love
Bar
