I don't know how you do it, Mark. You are SO cute!!!
Is it the cheeky grins, the fact that i have bend down to kiss you or the constant witty comments you make?
I've gone a bit quiet lately with production work - you know what they say, head down, bum up (stop it, i know what you're thinking!). Anyho, i will resurface in time for the silly season. hope you are keeping well.
I did make it to Arq this evening but got completely sidetracked with everything around me there I didn't have a chance to officially come and say hi!
I did check your roster to make sure you were on... (NO offence to Alex Taylor) but I like what you play and always have... I've only been DJ'ing for 1 year and started teaching myself with ZERO interest! Now im the complete opposite!
With the Sydney scene venues being my guide to how a DJ performs in our gay world... has been very interesting... but I'll leave that for another day... ;)
I've been to most of your residencies throughout 2004 - 2006 (I'm sure you've seen my head around.. lol )and naturally found myself looking out for your name before I made plans!
I've never walked out of 1 of your sets dissatisfied... regardless if it was Arq on Thurs to your Progressive House/Tribal set at good old Manacle Friday nights...
'Out with the old, In with the new' is a saying that is used just about everywhere across a number of careers but I think I've heard it the most being a DJ. Something I completely disagree with!
One major thing I do notice... The money's great as we know... but I don't see that across your set! Even though we need the money to survive you play for yourself as well as the patrons and that's what it's all about! You know how to work the room and im personally learning from your experience! I can see your passion for what you do and im hoping I can keep the same drive 25 years later like yourself! Let's touch base on that very comment in the year 2032... lol
I look forward to working with you in 2008 (fingers crossed!)
I think it's high time I strapped on those boots of mine and got my ass onto a dance floor near you very soon... Don't you??? YOU will see me soon I need a boogie LOL xxx
So good to see you again over the weekend and THANKS so much for the awesome music :) Kept me bopping along way longer than I should've :P see you soon x
