About me:
Hi, I'm Mark. I'm a design engineer for an automotive
supplier. I have been a race fan most of my life. Originally from Grand Rapids, I had the opportunity to watch and help my neighbor and friend race at Berlin
speedway. After getting married and moving to the Fenton
area in 1983 I met and became friends with another race driver. Going to the track and watching and helping with the racing continued to fuel the passion that I have always
had... I want to race. Last year, with the help and direction of my friend, Tom Hoose, I was able to actually buy and rebuild a race car. From November through April we worked almost daily to prepare the car for racing...
In April we tested and tuned and found that the car was actually very capable. So, I went racing! I've rode motocross and flat tracked ice for years, that was fun, but, racing these "Late Models" is by far the most fun I've had yet. Pretty cool huh? It took 48 years, but sometimes you have to wait for the best things. We are looking forward to another year of fun, and as many wins as we can get.
