When is this long promised new 7" on Vinyl Junkie Rekkids coming?
Ladies and gents! It's been a while. But we can finally tell you that our long delayed 7" on Vinyl Junkie Rekkids in Spain will be released in January 2010! The songs are an original called 'Find Yourself A Way' and a cover by the Dutch sixties group Les Baroques called 'I Was Wrong'. Just a few more weeks...
What's this 'just one upcoming show' crap?
For the first time in three years things are quiet in Mark & the Spies land. But as they say; Sometimes You Have To Take A Step Back Before You Can Move Forward. And there you have it: We're taking a step back. But no worries people, in February we're gonna record a few new songs with our favorite producer E.J. 'Mono is my middle name' Kloosterboer at his all new Subatomic Sound Farm Studio. Aarrgghh!
So what are these guys doing in the meanwhile?
Well,... getting bored, making eachothers live a living hell, making love, drinking booze, playing music, watching movies, not giving up their day jobs, trying to find the meaning of life and so on. Also Arjan is working on some solo material which he is planning to release in the near future. We'll keep you updated!
