About me:
A little about each of us:
Mark, born in Bridgeport, CT, grew up all over the Eastern US, but spent his HS years in Charlotte, NC attending South Mecklenburg High School. After floating around a bit, he joined the US Air Force in 1991 and was stationed at the Pentagon in Wash DC doing mainframe computer support. In 1997 he ended his tour and took a job with Verizon (at that time Bell Atlantic) also doing mainframe computer support. In 2007 he left Verizon to become the Office Manager / IT Specialist for Bullseye Construction, Inc. in Charlotte, NC.
Wendy was born at Little Rock Air Force Base in Arkansas. She went to HS at Wayne Country Day School in Goldsboro, NC. She then attended and graduated from NC State School of Design, and took a job at the Patuxent River Naval Air Warfare Center in Maryland as a Public Works Architect Civil Servant.
Through the wonder that is the internet, Mark and Wendy discovered each other and and met in February of 2002. We have been happily married since the 25th of April, 2004...which is also when we got married...(that old gag!)
We're now living in Charlotte, NC, and have been since August of 2005.
We both love videogaming and German-Style boardgaming. We're active on Xbox LIVE. Mark's gamertag is Geese and Wendy's is Full Cry. Wendy also loves to ride horses, which she does on a regular basis.
We have 2 dogs, Opie (Fiest, left) and Oscar (Jack Russell, right).

We also have 3 Thoroughbred horses named Ragtime, Dylan and Pepi.
We attend Good Shepherd United Methodist Church in Charlotte, NC and both proclaim Jesus Christ, the Son of God, was literally crucified, literally buried, and literally resurrected on the 3rd day. We believe in the triune God and are thankful that God the Father sent Jesus the Son to redeem humanity through his death and resurrection, and thankful that he sent his Spirit to guide us until the Son returns to renew creation. Praise Him!
We both train in Mixed Martial Arts at Leadership Martial Arts, in Charlotte, NC. Mark enjoys the grappling aspect of MMA the most.

Who I'd like to meet:
Randy Couture - and then maybe people interested in the socialization that only boardgaming can offer. Well, ok..people interested in Halo3 / COD4 LAN parties as well! And ROCK BAND! And if you like to ride horses, talk to Wendy, maybe she'll take you riding!
We also host a weekly gamenight at our place. Usually it's Friday evenings, and we post the next scheduled gamenight in our blog.
