About me:

Visit markarayner.com: scribblings, squibs and sundry monkey joys Mark A. Rayner was born in the Atomic Age, and is still pleasantly surprised that he was not vaporized in the mid-80s. He lives in London, Ontario (Canada) with his cat, dog and significant other, Heather. (Not necessarily in that order.) His first novel, THE AMADEUS NET is available from ENC Press, and was described by one reader as: "... a futuristic satire reminiscent of the fiction of Philip K. Dick, Christopher Moore and Neal Stephenson; it's a story set in a paranoid and imaginative world, flush with off-beat humor, and peppered with history, philosophy and allusions to a cyber-apocalypse." His short fiction has been thrice nominated for the Aurora Award, and appeared in such publications as Paradox, Abyss & Apex, Fortean Bureau, Oceans of the Mind and Parsec. He has also had three plays produced. His second novel, MARVELLOUS HAIRY, is due for release this September! Visit Mark at his website: markarayner.com
