Mark has three self produced album projects to his credit. These albums display Mark's versitility as both a recording artist and record producer. "On My Way Back Home" is a return to his folk and bluegrass roots. This all acoustic recording is a collection of original material, obscure finds and classic gems. "The Other Side" is an eclectic electric collection of Mark's work with his Nashville based band JUBAL FOSTER. Included are tracks from their self titled album as well as previously unreleased material. "When Love Comes Around" is Mark's most recent release and his first with his wife Aimee.     He is a son of the south, but Mark's influences span the American landscape. From the traditional sounds of the Appalachian mountains, to the west coast country and folk rock sounds of the 60's & 70's. For nearly thirty years Mark has performed with several national and regional touring bands, and as a solo artist, playing a variety of venues and opening for some of music's most respected artists. Mark considers himself a collector of songs as much as he does a writer of songs. In addition to his own songwriting, Mark interprets a wide range of material. Having spent many years in Nashville, many of his songs are from some of the country's best-known and unknown songwriters. From americana to bluegrass to classic and roots country, Mark's style takes a fresh approach with an old school sensibility and a touch of mountain soul.

    As well as appearing as a solo artist Mark also performs as a duo with his wife and vocalist Aimee Bumgarner under the name Calico Moon. Their sound is somewhere between todays americana and yesterdays country.
