In New Orleans I'm a mild mannered history professor. But I've been writing songs and have been into music all my life. I've played live and written songs in New Orleans and Nashville for many years. I just got my first Nashville cut, a song called Barn on the Rooftop, that is the first single released from Ty Willaims's new CD. Check it out on Ty's myspace site or at tywilliams.com. IN addition, a song called John Brown that I co-wrote with John Gros made it on the Papa Grows Funk CD entitled Mr. Patterson's Hat. I also had a cut on John's solo project Days End.
For the past four years I've been coming to Nashville and writing. I go about one week out of every month at the moment. I have been truly blessed to write with a number of successful Nashville writers including Mark Narmore, Kris Bergsnes, Adam Wheeler, Jim McCormick, Brian Maher, Jon McElroy, Pete Sallis, Will Rambeaux, Bubba Hudson, and many others. I've also written with a number of artists including Andrea Pearson and Tayla Lynn. I have also written with Nashville Star finalists Angela Hacker, Justin David, and Casey Rivers. There are a whole host of other awesome up and coming artists like Ryan Griffin, Sammi Moore, Ty Williams, Melissa Fuller, Angie Broberg, Jessica Rae, Lisa Torres, and Morgan Bracy that I have been writing with lately. I can't get enough of this writing thing and hope to do it as often as I can.

Hi Mark, Excellent material you've posted. Man, you keep raising the bar, although I always been impressed with your songs. Met Mark Adam Miller recently and got a copy of his CD. It rocks! Take care. g
