Music has been a centerpiece throughout Mark’s life. In his adolescence, during his weekly family trips to his grand-dad’s apartment in downtown San Francisco, he would visit Tower Records regularly spending his spare change on 45 singles and lp’s.
In high school he started writing his own songs, and recording them into battery operated cassette recorders. Eventually during college he invested in a little recording “setup” consisting of a 4 track track tape recorder, reverb unit and microphone. Countless hours and weekends were spent in the downstairs office creating and capturing little musical pieces.
That experience in home recording was a precursor to his current professional career in audio production for the past 14 years. Currently he is “director of engineering” at WaveGroup Sound, working on a wide range of audio for industrial, commercial, video games.
His church home is Shiloh Christian Fellowship in Oakland, a local church that reaches literally throughout the nations. He plays guitar on the worship team and currently is working on his next collection of songs in his “free time”.
Mark was born, raised and currently lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with his lovely wife Pearl, and their three beautiful boys Darren, Tanner and Aaron.

What is Prayer in the Square?
It’s Time to Pray!
Fifteen thousand people representing over 200 churches gathered with us for Prayer in the Square in 2008 to pray for the nation.
On September 20, 2009, we will be gathering again in Times Square to pray. We invite churches representing all denominations to gather with us for this event.
Prayer in the Square is an opportunity for all believers in Jesus Christ to gather together under one banner, for one hour, and pray for the future of our city and our nation.
A choir of over 180 voices will sing worship songs, and individuals will pray at intervals for approximately three minutes each. The entire event will be simulcast on the News Astrovision screen at One Times Square, on several radio stations. There will also be a live webcast at nycprayer.org.
Just wanted to pass this on and say hi. A friend sent this to me, and it's a good reminder that we need to let Him carry us through our problems. I've been going through a rough time and it's good to get these messages from my friends that care about me. It's a good reminder to give it to God. I hope you are doing well.
