This music is me at 3 am mostly and whenever I am inspired to write. I have one mic and I layer everything here on my computer. I really enjoy simple, direct melodies. The quality on Myspace isn't quite as good as purevolume, so if you want to listen to more... check out the purevolume site.
Thanks man..... I downloaded your song "Counting Curbs," and I just checked my iTunes and I've listened to it 40 times already. This is one of my favorite songs of the year, I don't know why but it really speaks to me. Very quiet but powerful. I've memorized all the words and the chord progressions :)
I know you're going to go places with your excellent songwriting ability. Thanks so much for making beautiful music. That cello is amazing!!!!

I'm glad to hear that you have a good impression about Canadians! Unfortunately, I cannot say that 100% of Americans I have met are cool parce que I watch American Idol. However, that's not to say you aren't and plus, there are a LOT more Americans than Canadians so I'm sure that proportionally speaking, the countries are equally as cool. By the way, I noticed you said renting a scooter made you look like a pansy. In my experience, riding a scooter increases your chance of falling off a scooter by 100% so it's actually not pansy-ish at all. Unless you wore knee and elbow pads. In that case, it would be pansy-modium!
Canada in general is pretty good. I think you went to the nice part, as in any other part than Southern Ontario, including BC. S On is the armpit. No hills, mountains, rivers, wildlife, not even good zoos! We just have all the people. And money. And capitol. And malls. So it's not too bad. How's Idaho?
you're welcome mark:] no i live in a little town called skipperville and unfortunately our cash crop is peanuts and not candy:[ but it's still kinda nice i guess. :]
ha! ya its kinda funny in orchestra we sometimes will play around on our friends instruments. but i have yet to have logan let me play his cello. but i'm gonna find someone who'll let me. cause i think it'd be fun. it might be challenging at first since the strings are thicker so i'll have to press harder. but i still want to try. well later mark
MARKOUS DOUBLEDAY!!!!! your video and songs are amazing. my only request is that next time you put in a whole cello solo. i miss that beautiful MARK cello playing. even though i go to orchestra and hear them everyday. nobody in my orchestra can play like you do. i need more CELLO.....oh and i've also decided that either i'm going to marry a guy who plays one or i'm gonna learn in myself cause i think i'm in love with the cello. it just has this beautiful deep chocolate sound......i don't think you really needed to know that but i thought i'd tell you anyways. lol so now that i've creeped you out i'm gonna go. lol
