Singer/songwriter and classically trained pianist Mark Dowd’s shows feature the best of many genres.This gifted young man possesses a wonderful singing voice and a style to suit all tastes. His shows are a blending of captivating music, from Classical to Swing, Tango to Celtic ballads and sophisticated pop to rock and roll.
In 2004, a South Bank Show Special presented by Howard Goodall featured a short interview and solo performance by Mark. Of the performance, the renowned presenter commented: ‘Mark has mastered the most complex of musical tasks at a bewilderingly early age.’
A Bachelor of Music with a First Class Honours Degree from King’s College, University of London and training from the Royal Academy of Music only substantiates Mark’s many talents.
Since leaving full time education his hectic schedule has included Scandinavian Hotels, cruise ships and British mainland one night stands.
