A day in my boat, walleye fishing.
Watching my kids at their sports. I roast my own coffee beans...and am a MONSTER coffee fan! (and a bit of a caffeine junkie)
A good cribbage game. "Unplugged" guitar and harmonica.
Kicking back with a cold Summit Beer and a good cigar.

About me: Business: Owner of 25-8 Marketing, Inc...a full-service advertising agency, located in Elk River, Minnesota. We serve about 30 clients throughout the midwest, primarily Minnesota.
Our focus is the small to medium business owner and manager. We help with all sorts of marketing...television, radio, newspaper, direct mail, internet, newsletters, brochures, event marketing, photography, video projects, and graphic design.
Who I'd like to meet: Entrepreneurs, business owners, marketers of all kinds, writers, artists, musicians, media, advertising agencies. Basically, people who make it happen. It’s all about networking.
IF YOU WANT TO ADD ME: Just a quick note here. That's great. If I know you, if you're a friend (or even a friend of a friend) that's fine. If you're a peer professional (see above) who wants to keep up-to-date in the industry, and exchange some meanful information, and learn from each other, that's cool. If you want to exchange blog comments, all the better. BUT, if you're a MLM, or are just trying to build your list, or put a very one-sided, self-serving link in my comments (whore trains, as they say in myspace), I'm not interested.
On the celebrity side: Frank Sinatra, Elvis, Chris Farley (well, the first three are gonna be tough), Will Ferrell, Conan O'Brien, Kevin James, Samuel L. Jackson, Jack Nicholson, Joe Montana, Collin Powell, and Mick Jagger.

It was the happiest day of my life. I will never forget my dad's electric guitar. It was a one of a kind Gibson Barney Kessel, usually used by jazz guitarists. I remember well my father standing in the evenings in the doorway holding a big white box with a guitar inside, saying goodbye and going on his way.
One evening, for the first time in my life, I asked my father if I could play his electric guitar. I was five years old at the time. I sat down on the bed in my small room, and opened my arms wide. My dad placed his guitar on my knees, said a few words and left. I carefully drew the guitar to my stomach, while trying to place my left hand on the neck of the guitar and my right on the body, quite a difficult task considering my very young age. I moved my right hand back and forth, lightly touching the six strings, and voilà – the first tune of my life was being played. The sounds that burst into the room were not all that well-defined but for me they were, for that moment, the whole world.
