Musically speaking, I was bred and spread in Boston and New York as a musician by performing with many bands throughout New England. I eventually started to work for an entertainment agency which organized rhythm sections to support the tours of artists from Chicago and Memphis. One of those artists was singer - James Carr. The bulk of my development as a player came from performing with those groups for weeks at a time. In the late 90s I became the drummer for the The Benjamin Orr Band (..video..) and played with Benjamin until I moved to NYC. Upon relocating to New York, I became a faculty member at Drummers Collective where I currently teach courses and give private instruction to students from around the world. Additionally, perform drum seminars for Remo, Vic Firth, Sabian, and Drum Workshop. -
