Honing his bass skills in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with the likes of RCA recording artist Robert Hazard (Girls Just Wanna Have Fun), Epic’s John Kuzma (The Hooters), A&M’s Bricklin (Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure), and as a founding member of Sire’s Martin’s Dam, Mark Gorman was ready to relocate to Los Angeles with musical partner Mary Arden Collins. Hitting the ground running, Mark joined longtime friend Donna De Lory (Madonna) as part of her band, Bliss. Soon thereafter, Mark found his niche in the world of mantra as bass player for Sanskrit chanting artist Krishna Das. As an L.A. session player, Mark continues to explore new musical avenues in multiple genres, from alternative to ambient & roots to rock. Mark Gorman & indie artist Mary Arden Collins continue to make music together, tour, and write songs for film & TV.
Hey man, thanks for the message and the add! I really appreciate it. If I'm ever in the L.A area I'll for sure hit you up. If you like my music, check out my video for the single, "February Blue." CD Release show is Oct 2 here in Nashville...road trip? ha.
Along with a "Happy New Year" blessing are my sincerest wishes for a very Happy Birthday to you! You were missed at Maha! See you soon, in Light, Suzanne
