About me: I started to draw in Febuary 2006 off the coast of Virginia on a big aircraft carrier called the Dwight D. Eisenhower. I was working in the brig at the time. By convention I am actually a Nuke Machinist Mate. Its a pretty interesting place. I throughly enjoy drawing in pencil, charcoal and some color. I need to bring my confidence up in using color. But that will come in time. I do commissions. If interested just email me markgriffinartwork@yahoo.com. I enjoy portrait drawing the most. I live and work in the Hampton roads area in Virginia. I enjoy Virginia Beach. I enjoy working out and staying in shape. Feel free to comment on my artwork. I do like constructive criticism. My influences are my niece Sherry Davis, Lee Hammond, J.D Hillberry and Ann Kullberg. I also have a Deviant Art profile under http://subcritical.deviantart.com/
I am good, living here in Alaska now and adjusting rather well to it. I hear about the school stuff, I am glad that I am through with it, for now any way. So did you ever get my email asking about prices, for a family portrait?
Just Droppin' By to say I'm still thinking of you, and really really miss you! Last night Joe (my brother), and Jim and Mike and I and all of our wives! all hung out together - They were actually asking "whatever happened to Mark?" And I was able to give a partial answer.

A new product line I'm working on. These are hand turned frames with watercolor paper adhered to them tucked in an inset grove. I can do portraits on them and do paintings as large as 20 inches. (from edge to edge of frame)
