About me:
I grew up in Horseheads New York.
In highschool I joined a rock band with Andy and Billy Hilfiger Fright in Elmira New York.
Went on to joing Ice Water Mansion from 1983 thru 1989. I met Rick James and he produced a record for Ice Water Mansion in 1987. We never got signed so...
In 1989, I decided it was time for a move. I took a blind leap of faith and moved to Los Angeles. I landed in a few rock bands like Maltese, and Reactor and even a short stint with Lita Ford.
I got a job selling ads for Hot Rod magazine at Petersen Publishing Company. I became Publisher of Car Craft in 1999 and then Associate Publisher of Hot Rod in 2000. Today 18 years later, I am still here now named Source Interlink Media.
On New Years Eve 1996, I met my wife to be.
We never looked back, she was mine the first date!
We were married in 2000 and our first son was born in 2003 and then our second son in 2004.
I am a family man and devoted loving husband.
So what about the rock guitar? I never have stopped playing guitar. I still play at jams all over the country like the Gibson Custom Summer Jam and occasional shows with Andy Hilfiger in our old band Fright. I also play with a few church bands around town as well from time to time.
I had decided it was time to make a decision, since hard rock had virtually seen its day in the early 90's, what was I going to do when nobody bought rock anymore?
So now I am just having fun playing my guitars every day. In my heart I have never left the music.
I do however feel there is another album in me and I have enough riffs to create something great. I can feel I will have a second change in the distant future I just don't know what. I can tell by the way my playing is getting much better and mature...stay tuned!
