Mark Heaney is drummer for post punk legends Gang of Four. He has recorded and collaborated on countless sessions. Mark is a composer and producer and creates his own sound scapes using live drums and samples. Mark is renowned for his intense heavy groove playing, impecable feel, musicality, endless creativity and frightening speed and finesse, which combined make him one of the worlds greatest drummers. Mark started playing drums at the age of eight and has been playing ever since.
Mark has played with artists such as John Squire, The Seahorses, Jacknife Lee, The Freelance Hellraiser, The Shining, The Klaxons, Howie Day, Hugh Turner, Nick Mccabe, Badly Drawn Boy, Shit Disco, Gail Ann Dorsey, Andy Gill, the list keeps growing!
