My music journey began at the age of 5 when i first started to learn how to play the piano. It wasn't the easiest of task for me to acheive what i have now as i was a rather ill-disciplined and lazy padawan=) There were many times (during my earlier grades) where i just wanted to quit learning the piano as i felt completely frustrated with the scoldings and lectures i thought i could do without. Thanks to great guidance from my teacher and years of playing the piano, i began to really love what i was doing. This love between music and i took 5 years ( frm 5 to 10 yrs old) to cultivate and materialise, but it has been existing till this very day and i'm truly grateful. From then on, i began to practice really hard for the piano exams and achieved my ABDip in 2006. I learnt that, to love and understand music, takes discipline, practice and knowledge. Currently, I am recording my first Keyboard Album which would be due August this year!
I picked up the drums in 2001 when i joined my secondary school military band as a CCA.I started off as a marching snare drummer under the guidance of Mr. Ngoh Kheng Seng (current Singapore Chinese Orchestra Timpani player). After Secondary School, i was invited to join the Singapore Wind Symphony in 2005. I am currently playing drums in Funk Rock band Soul Excess, Glam/Classic Rock band SkyRocket gigging nationwide, and on Brandon Gan's album. I would love to meet fellow music lovers ard the world and i thought Myspace would be a great avenue=)
