the lyrics come at night...
often i wake up, usually between 2am and 3am, my head full of words and images. most of them don't make sense, what do you expect, they're dreams.
fleeting...
shy like butterflies...
gone i a second...
that's why i write them down, in a journal i keep next to my bed.
later i try to read them which is not too easy since i have the worst handwriting in history. some i ignore, ohters i pick up and work into lyrics. so much for the words.
i've been making music half of my life. i play in redwood, together with lesley, alex, dino and francesco. i love it. the stage, the light, the noise. sometimes there's a crowd, too. :)
but most of the time it's just me and my guitar on the couch. playing, dreaming, writing songs.
