I was wondering when your website will be up and running. I'm excited to see what new stuff will be on it. Enjoy your weekend and do something out of the ordinary.
I just wanted to tell you that I can't stop listening to your albums (signal is my favorite). I just graduated college with my bachelors degree and now I'm at my home computer with awesome speakers...Wow! It's all I do. My roommates and friends, who are usually "American idol" or hip-hop fans were continuously asking "who sings that?" whenever I played your music from Signal and Long Way From Love (btw, sorry to hear you got screwed over with that CD release). My Dad, who is a huge AOR fan, is constantly jamming the music in his car on the way to work.
As I said before, with the right marketing and releasing the material before the grunge scene hit, you would have made it big. However, God has a plan for all of us, and you are no exception. You have influenced a lot of people with your music, and it brings joy to many. All it takes is a little bit to make the biggest differences. Kind of like throwing a pebble on a clear, calm lake. The pebble, so small, ripples an entire lake. The same analogy applies in life.
It is fate that I have stumbled across your musical genious. I have never heard of your unruly child, signal, or you solo material (king kobra, however, i have) until a few weeks ago, and I already bought the cds.
As a huge AOR fan myself, I'm surprised I have never heard of you before. It's a shame most of your material wasn't released until the grunge scene hit. It's also a shame that although many teenagers and young adults like myself (age 22) enjoy the AOR/powerpop era, most do not listen to the genre anymore. However, I see a remergence in the near future.
Your albums have been getting me through my tough college days while I'm trying to obtain a double masters. I'm glad to see you're doing fine.
