Mark Mendes has the status as one of the most forward-thinking house music producers today. He is has released a string of unique productions, including his massive original hit, ‘Beneath You’. Having remixed the likes of Dave Spoon, John Acquaviva and many more; they are absolute works of amazement. Mark’s music can be found on his ‘Starter Records’ imprint, as well as top labels Toolroom, Ultra, CR2, Mar186, News, Definitive, Cinnamon Flava (DIY Italy), and Noir Music.
His tracks have featured on a number of BBC Radio 1 shows, including Pete Tong’s Essential Mix, Pete Tong’s In New Music We Trust, and In New DJs we Trust. Mark’s music has been played by the likes of Dave Spoon, Mark Knight, Pete Tong, David Guetta, Kaskade, Fedde Le Grand, Funkerman, Steve Angello, Robbie Rivera, Eddie Haliwell, Tocadisco, Tom Novy, and MANY more.
He has recently just been nominated for the award for ‘Best Techno Track of the 2008’ on Beatport, one of the largest electronic download websites. His song ‘Beneath You’, was the number 1 selling techno track of 2008, and his remix of John Acquaviva’s ‘Sofa King’ was the 3rd best selling tech house track of 2008.

Some comments: Carsten Rausch: I really like Mario Plaza - Vocal Sense. All Mixes are nice, but the Original Mix is my fav. Full support for that one! Dave James: Vocal sense is cool, hypnotic mix is my fave. Galuszka: The original starts chunky and gets funky, a nice groove. The remixes by Luis Noic take it minimal. The Hipnotic remix revisits some classic techno sounds, love it. The Reddman: The Vocal Sense Track was very smooth. It was one of those tracks that make you want to just stand in front of the speaker, close your eyes and let the music take you on a trip to somewhere deep within your own mind. In fact we're turning up the heat for the winter months ahead starting right now, with the long awaited debut ep on MUM from Tempered DJ's. We've seen some top notch collaborations and blinding remixes from Tempered this year. Their recent remix of H2 'The Bus To Mexico City' has picked up huge support including from Eddie Haliwell and their amazing re-work of Age Of Love has started a bit of a revival being hammered by everyone since the summer from Lucien Foort to Carl Cox who has been playing this at Space, Ibiza as well as on his radio show..
So here it is - entitled 'Kean's Changed' the EP delivers in true Tempered style - We believe some of their finest work to date!
