Mark Midland Hughes is one of the most promising and original songwriters to
pick up a pen.
He is currently finishing up his first studio production with Ken Demith ( front man for The Harvest Carnival and Mercy Service ) at the helm as producer. He is looking at a late 2008 completion.
Stay tuned for album release dates, new tunes ( he promises ) and new show dates!!!!
This 32 year old husband and father of one has spent the past 5 years writing songs in airplanes, airport terminals, traffic jams and yes, he has written the occasional tune while in the throne room.
He keeps a pad and pen in every room of the house and a 3/4 size acoustic guitar in his car. "You never know when the creative light bulb ( sometimes confused with gas ) is going to go off", he sometimes says. "Not to mention, when I prop the guitar up in the seat just right and I slap a ball cap on the headstock, I can pull into the HOV lane."
So, if you're stuck on I-35 and you see a guy in a metallic brown '93 Honda Accord singing to himself, that is likely just Mark taking advantage of the bumper-to-bumper down time.
Oh and his bio info-
He grew up in Houston.
He lives in Dallas.
He loves his family.
He has a warm voice.
He writes thought-provoking songs.
He is going to impress a lot of people.....we think...

SPAMED! Can you ever forgive me? If so, please vote for me!
I am in Round Two of The TRCoA Unsigned Artist Competition. Help me get to Round Three by clicking my face and voting for me!
If I’m in the top 4 I get to play a showcase for record executives and could win 100 free hours in the studio.
If I were selected, it would really help me rock some faces off, please take a second and vote.
Thanks!
