Influences	Too many to list... Brian McKnight is my main man--his singing is unparalleled.
Sounds Like	A mixture of contrasting genres. "Yellow" is a R&B-influenced composition. "Etude" was written after having worked on Ginastera's Argentinean Dances. "Segment" was an attempt to merge bebop with subtle R&Bisms... I overdubbed myself playing guitar after having hastily recorded the piano due to time constraints. :)

About Mark Pellizzer

I've been extremely fortunate to become a member of Justin Nozuka's group. I've been touring around with the group since September of last year. Concerning the music on this page... the Etude is written in the style of Alberto Ginastera. Yellow is essentially a jazz tune, influenced by Gospel music. Segment is a Charlie Parker piece that I played on piano and guitar. The musicians on Yellow are Max Roach (drums) and Anthony Lavdanski (bass).
