Hi Mark. I'm really pleased you liked the CD. I think 'Oveflow' could be my favourite, too. New song/s coming very soon, I hope, and some live shows after all this Environmental Fair business has gone by.

Hey Mark! "Diggin' "Somewhere"! The worst day with a uke is better than the best day at work.... :>) In response to your inquiry, "Is it possible to play the ukulele and surf at the same time I wonder?"... Only in photoshop! " Aloha, Rick & Bucky.
Hiya Mark! "My Girl Has Fleas".... shear brillliance!! :>) Just stoppin' by to drop off some BurroSpam from Road Apple Records.... My old friend King Gully was the first Rasta surfer on the wild North Shore of Barbados. This song is based on his true story. It's been described as a cross between "I Shot The Sheriff" and "Puff The Magic Dragon". :>) And there's ukulele under all those dang gitarz! I think you'll like it, as well as the shots of great surfing and amazing waves, all from Barbados! Aloha, Rick Novak. Enjoy.... You put up Bill! Nice. He's a jolly good guy. I started playing just two months before last year's festival; which was my second ever gig. I think not having played any instruments beforehand helped. Many guitarists I know get hopelessly confused by the tuning. Can't wait to play again this year. Looking forward to meeting you..! Xen
Nice tunes Mark! Dictaphones are surprisingly good at recording. Gone To Get Geese is done on one.
So Ukelear Meltdown '08 got you playing? That's cool. I see that just a year later you are playing on the bill. Are you going to be around on the Saturday? If so come say hi! xx
"My Girl Has Fleas" is quite simply the lullabye-anthem of a generation. Not mine, of course, but, you know...someone's. It seems. I mean, it ought to be. Brilliant and haunting and absurd, Mark. I espeially like the one note that you give just a slight sour tilt at the end with your finger. Definitely it should be the closer for your set, after you've worked them into a frenzy and need to bring them back down.
