Influences
I’m influenced by whatever is around at the time and moves me. That might be a hook, a vocal, a track or some specific production quality. I’m notoriously unfaithful to bands; I’m just a sucker for a good song. I’ve tried to think of acts I particularly like and thought if I could remember them without thinking too hard then they would make up my list, but I’m sure I’ve made some major music faux pas by missing out someone dripping in obscure greatness. I like european electro music and all manner of dance music but it was not always thus. Growing up with country music and pop I have developed a deep appreciation of song structure, melody and composition. The music I make then I consider songs rather than tracks. The quirky edge to my songs are intentional, the quality I hope incidental. ......................................................
