I'm the Ministry Team Leader with the Blackwood Church of Christ in Adelaide, South Australia. I am passionate about mobilising those who claim to be Jesus followers, to be a wave of massive influence in our world, to befriend the friendless, to help the helpless, stand with the marginalized and speak truth and justice where there is deciet and injustice. I want to be part of a movement that is transforming our world for the better, to 'change the direction of the wind' as I once heard Tim Costello say.
I hope this space encourages you to respond to the greatest needs you see not only in the big wide world but in the context of your own neighbourhood. hey friends - SURRENDER is on this weekend and we are pretty excited I must admit. Heard Elias Chacour last night at Careforce and he was amazing - extremely moving and powerful man of God and Peace!. Don't forget the Friday night at SURRENDER is a special Burma Benefit Concert with Vox Congo and Saturday will have a focus on our indigenous brothers and sisters.
