| General | Anything and everything. Don't knock it until you've tried it. | | Music | Love it. I'm into too many bands to mention but I don't think I'll ever love a band as much again as I have three- The Beatles, Nirvana and Sublime- it's a time of life thing. I'm intensely jealous of anyone musical. | | Movies | Love them again, especially those that make me think or laugh. | | Television | Not so keen on. I'm blessed to be living in Singapore where the TV is so shocking I don't own one. The exception to this is comedy, especially The Simpsons and British sit-coms. | | Books | I should read more. I love films, but can you think of a film where the book isn't even more enjoyable and involving? And they're not even the best books. I rest my case.
A few favourites are- anything by Hemmingway, especially 'For Whom the Bell Tolls', The Rum Diary, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, The Electrik Cool-Aid Acid Test, The Divine Comedy (retro trippy stuff from when everyone was whacked up on religion), Girlfriend 44- the list goes on. | | Heroes | I'm not so keen on famous heroes- I think everyone's flawed and 'heroes' are probably the first to admit it. Anyone who does the 'right' thing, especially in the face of adversity, is a hero in my book and I'm particularly keen on those close to home- family and friends. |

About me:
Introspection huh? Well then...
I'm a god-awful cynic and believe in nothing deeply but possibility. My life is cursed by the word 'maybe'. I fear this makes me bland.
I'm a nomad and a speed freak- I'm happiest on the move, preferably fast. It's better to travel in hope than to arrive.
I'm perplexed by life, but I like a good mystery. I already know my last thought is going to be, 'What? I still don't get it.'
I'm not funny, but I wish I were!
I enjoy multiply personalities. Depending on the time of day you'll either find me in a suit talking money with a CEO or talking gibberish to a stranger at a post-party sunrise. Both are me.
Of course, this is just my opinion- I invite you to form your own. After all, who's to say I'm right?
