SHOLTEZ

Shortly after signing a deal with the esteemed U.S. record label Verve, Mark recorded his Debut Album, Real Street in New York City.

Real Street's soulful, sophisticated musical settings match Sholtez's talents with those of some of contemporary music's most revered and respected figures. The album's musical cast includes multiple Grammy winning producer (and Verve Music Group chairman) Tommy LiPuma (Frank Sinatra, Diana Krall, Nat King Cole, George Benson, Miles Davis) along with noted veteran engineer Al Schmitt and a prestigious cast of players.

Real Street was released in April 2006 and debuted in the ARIA Jazz and Blues chart at the number one position where it stayed for 10 consecutive weeks and was nominated for an ARIA award in that same year.

In 2007, Mark’s original composition ‘Love Me for the Cool’ won him a converted APRA Music Award.

Mark is currently featured on the platinum selling soundtrack for the hit Australian TV series, 'Packed To The Rafters'.
