Dynamically progressive indie rock - soothing vocals and overdriven blues guitar, with sprinkles of Floydian intricasies and deep rolling basslines, all time packaged by innovative drum beats.

The quiet times in the early morning when the rest of the world is still sleeping and your thoughts are coming alive through your sense of realization to create and be bound with the trees and the bird's songs and the unfurling of floral displays in the cool mist. Then as the sun rises and the bustle of automotive and locomotive and aeromotive traffic begins pushing its way into the inner ear of your fantasy, you silently retire to the confound of your abode to create without disturbance or afterthought. The whistle of the teapot, or the swirling of the spoon as you add in the sugar and the warmth of the closest star on the back of your neck, sending a fleeting reminder that the collection of molecules that have been bonded to form your existence have been done so for no particular reason except that one day all may hear the voice of one race, progressing toward a deeper understanding, where neighbors love neighbors, and where power is not in the people you control, but rather in the people controling themselves.
With a world-influenced diversity, and a deep implanted classical roots anchor, Markus Christoph presents a mysterious uniqueness for the listener, blending old methods with new styles, and stretching the bounds of the emotional spectrum. Piano at 7. Trumpet at 9. Guitar at 12. Beethoven, Tchaikovsky, Karen and Julia rung his ears as a child. He seemed destined to rest his bones in the aural fields and harvest his creativity from its tonal curiosity. Christoph's' blue jazz, classic prog-rock leaves a refreshing vibe in a world where genre lines have quickly lost their place-markers. An abundant passion for dynamic classicism often finds its way into his tracks, resulting in an opus of orchestral flavor. He performs steadily with several Philadelphia bands, as well as solo, continues crafting his original songwriting and records daily in his home studio. A solo performance chills out on a jazz and blues-striped couch, accented with mysterious progressive pillows, and draped in a smoothy-soft vocal blanket. Although the guitar is his instrument of choice, don't be surprised to find him propped behind a piano slowing it down a bit. The 2006 release of his conceptual EP, A New Day, introduces the world to a visionary legacy in the making.
