And then I guess there's Hemingway, Robert Frost, David Gates, Larry McMurtry, Raymond Chandler ... those kinds of boys.

Markus Rill says he learned most of what he knows about songwriting and performing from living in Austin, Tx. (where he was really enrolled to study American literature) in the mid-90ies. These days the verdict is "he could teach those guys in Texas a few lessons" (Village Records/USA).
