  • Bio

If you like the music of Elvis Costello, Leonard Cohen, Seal, Keane, John Mayer, Coldplay, The Flaming Lips, Lionel Richie, Elliott Yamin, Enya, Michael Buble, and Dean Martin, chances are you will like the music of Mark Weber. .. As a BMI-registered singer-songwriter, Mark's original music generally covers the themes of loss, hope and love. He also croons classic love songs and likes "bringing classics back." When he's not playing his piano, he enjoys skiing and boating, and talking with all sorts of people. .. For the longest time, Mark spent his time interviewing singers and bands as a journalist. He got to talk with people like Mary J. Blige, Charlie Daniels, John Tesh, Joan Osborne, and Dionne Warwick. .. "I've been a huge fan and student of music for years," says Mark. "So I'm excited that now I'm the one making music to share with lots of people. My hope is that the songs I share with people encourage them to press on despite the pain and disappointments in their lives. That's my motivation with the songs I write, sing and share with the world." .. You are very kind, but I can't take any credit for that, I would have to give it to - 1 Thessalonians 5: 16-18!  You have a very Sweet sound, I really liked hearing " What A Wonderful World"  Very nice!!!

Hi Mark, Thanks for your comment on myspace. I appreciate your taking the time to write me.  I do not use the myspace as much as Face book.  You are also on FB as one of my friends.  Recently, I posted photos from a recent "mission" to India... check it out.  There was an incredible miracle at a School for the Deaf.
PS- also check out www.pardonjohnnycash.com this weekend... my son, John Francis, is playing and offering a discussion on songwriting with J. Tittle.  Interesting what doors God opens in our lives. All the best, Carol
