MySpace a place for friends

Marná snaha (Vain endeavour) – The place Marná snaha was born is Volyne’s good known pub Rakvárna in the break of the years 2001 and 2002. In this place and time, there was something in the air, that made two Honzas to make a deal and it began long period of preparation for the project called “The Band”. To find the rest of the crew was not so big trouble. Jirka-Most (George-Bridge) had his place certain, because he had a white gay electric guitar and combo in his possession and he was able to put it in tune. The guitar was certain disadvantage for potentional young female fans, but non existing band had nothing to lose. It has no effect, we are sure of it now. Man behind the drums was chosen in another legendary pub U boty in very special rum drinking contest.

We have played ever since. We made few bad concerts, but more of the spectacular ones. We issued one recording recently and we are waiting what comes further. As long as it makes us happy, we will be there for amusement of all our friends and real musicians... Come to our show and you..ll see:)
