Blurbs

About me:

I am an eclectic, loquacious, gregarious, modestly narcissistic, afrocentric, contradictory, ethereal somebody with a poetic spirit.

My wit is sardonic and I absolutely LOVE to laugh. And it's recently been brought to my attention that I show my cleavage a lot.

I think friendship is the most amazing thing in the world. Fully connecting with people who have no moral or legal obligation to like you? Just brilliant. :)

I have a love affair with all things artistic and cultural and surround myself with poets, singers, musicians, artists and filmmakers because I love their energy and envy their ability to lay it all out on the line.

I also like to produce events...like my queer women of color music festival, Serafemme:

I produce the Serafemme Queer Women of Color Music Festival... This year's festival yielded almost 1000 women and included The Floacist from Floetry, Sistas in the Pit and Diamonique. Join us next year for the 5th annual festival in August

at the West Hollywood Park Baseball Field in West Hollywood, CA. Serafemme is a 6-hour outood festival featuring 17 queer female artists of color from various genres.

I've been using this awesome toolbar for awhile now, and thought some of you would like it. It's got lots of cool tools on it. Grab it and have a look.

Who I'd like to meet:

people who inspire me: "beige artistic folks" *wink*, mailmen, bus drivers, school teachers, lawyers, people who say their prayers before bed, people who work at McDonalds to finish their books, soothsayers, witches, cowboys, doctors, french maids, sitcom writers, mavericks, graffiti artists, army men, politicians, people addicted to the internet, people who don't own a tv, people addicted to tv, beat makers, construction workers, judges, designers, telemarketers, people who believe in forever, cynics, romance book readers, people afraid of their own shadows, comedians, actors, electricians, landlords, gardners, book binders, bulk mailers, promoters, dancers, florists, shoe shine men, nurses, students, antiques salesmen, auctioneers, web designers, poets, nail technicians, court reporters, IT people, stenographers, producers, clerks, cashiers, butchers, and all of you looking for a cure for terminal ignorance...

...and people who don't leave me "Thanks for the add" comments. It's hokey and is a complete waste of bandwith.
