Yeah I don't really hear a lot about the happenings in the southlands but sometimes there is a book signing that comes through. I met the resident mystery author, and I would be the resident horror mind in the area. I would see the tourism board sign sometimes going through Wilmington.
I am now working for a not for profit company that provides services to Senior Citizens. We help fill out all those confusing forms, sign them up for Med D and Medicare and alot of other things. Our company operates on donations and fundraisers and we will be having one to go along with Mother's Day. I am not too proud to ask as I am expected to sell at least 100 tickets.
We are raffling for Mother's day baskets that are work at least $50 each...more in most cases. The baskets are made in different themes-a kitchen theme, a personal theme that includes a full body massage, and other themes. We also have as a grand prize a 6 month senior membership to the Ottawa YMCA and a 2nd prize of a CD/player/FM Radio. The raffle tickets are $1 (thats one dollar is all) each and the baskets are really nice gifts to give to mom, your wife or to use for yourself. I will mail any baskets or prizes won if they aren't in driving distance so you will have them in time for Mother's Day on the 13th of May.
Let me know how many I can put you in for.

I realize this is pretty far from my hometown of Marseilles, but if there is anyone out there who remembers me, click on the article below and just by reading you can help support my buddy Ace (American Idol) and his mission to help the kids.
