Audio Engineer
* An audio engineer will be available for set-up and sound check from 7:45pm and will operate for the whole performance. They may also be available for the mastering of the recording if the artist chooses to go the direction of making a CD of their performance.
Mars Hill Cafe is a local music and art venue as well as a cool place to hang out. The cafe provides ethical coffee, cheap food, outdoor dining and performance spaces. We strive to provide a personal "second lounge room" experience. Our hope is that you'll find it a comfortable place to have a chat with friends; friends you haven't met yet or our friendly staff. Enjoy "your" cafe.

We are looking for new bands and artists to come and play at MHC. We'd love to hear from you, so send us your demos, your bios and the stuff that makes your music your music. We'd prefer to have to spend our time listening to new artists and new music than staring at the walls!!! So send us your stuff!!! Let us hear your sounds!!!!

AND just spreading the word about a new once a month blues night that will be starting at Mars Hill cafe on the 1st Saturday of the month beginning in August..."Blues on the hill" will feature Blues...roots...Alt Country...Early Americana...Folk...The concept being three acts each playing a 1/2 hour set followed by a 1/2 hour jam at the end...The jam will encourage audience members who play harp/guitar/have a yen to do some vocals or backup doo wops to get up on stage and join in...It is hoped that muso's looking to meet other muso's/vocalists etc might find others to join with to form duo's/trios etc...Its about bringing people together to enjoy and participate/network music...If you would like to be considered for a slot to showcase your sound/style please email to bluesonthehill@live.com with a link to your site...get up and get into it!...Regards...Mo@Mars.
