Influences	my undying quest for truth in my life is my main influence in songwriting. my need to communicate through more than just words is why i am in a band. my confusion juxtaposed with my clarity is what makes me want to sing so that everyone can hear. these songs are the soundtrack to my human experience...my life. they are real; not words chosen to rhyme in a line or chords that will fit a certain style, these are what i feel.
Sounds Like	WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING... "Last year was the second "musical interlude" of my adult life. During that time music came back to me or at least resurfaced. Grateful for it showing up again, it reminded me of my musical father and the time I spent writing songs back in the 80's far far away from here. I was thrilled more than once by new singers and songwriters that I encountered during my musical interlude of 2007. I have some long time favorites on the big time scale , but have yet to hear anyone locally that comes from down deep like The Martha Hornby Band." - Dudley Bishop
