| Bio | I am a classically trained actor (how impressed are you on a scale of 9-10?) turned stand-up comedian. Although I am originally from Chapel Hill, NC, my family moved around the country during my childhood until my parents were satisfied that I'd be funny. I think my best "new girl" encounter would have to be in 11th grade when, on my first day at a new school, a girl came up to me and said, "Hey, is it true that your family had to move here because you had an abortion and were run out of your old town?" I believe I responded, with ever so much wit, "I think it's about time for me to get depressed about living here and develop an eating disorder." And then I did!Wow, is that hilarious or what?!! (single tear)
Now based in Los Angeles, I've played at The Improv, Comedy Store, Pasadena Ice House, and many other clubs (with terrible parking) around Southern California. I've just started performing on the road, so if you live in places hither and yon- let me know where the comedy at in your town! **Unless, of course, your town is the kind that "runs young girls out of it."
