Influences
Un día entendi que el arte vive en su singular lugar,
que es muy maduro, que nada esconde, y que la
música es su propiedad más bien.
Me abrió un comienzo que hoy es empresa, intercam-
bios que el resultado es un elogio, maestros quedando
paso a su lenguaje han iluminado el candil de este
trabajo.

tiene nombre de pasados, de presentes avalados con
historia.
Tiene nombre y apellido, gran belleza en sus dunas,
en sus campos, en tres mares recogidos de tú mano,
nos pasea, y escuchando mis NOSTALGIAS comulgamos.

Joan Manuel Serrat.
Martha Patricia Yepes Valderrama
es conocida en Europa cariñosa-
mente como ‘Pat’. Una Bogotana
que a muy temprana edad se dio
cuenta de su vocación artística
y desde entonces no ha descansa-
do por alcanzar su objetivo,
triunfar. Dotada de una voz
privilegiada y la presencia es-
cénica de una verdadera artista,
ha colaborado con leyendas del
Jazz, tales como Bill Evans,Stan
Getz,Jorge Pardo, Bobby McFerrin,
Jerry González y Carles Benavent.
Participó en grandes producciones
de Jazz organizadas por el
reconocido Juan Carlos Calderón,
destacado por sus trabajos para
las grandes estrellas latinas Luís
Miguel; Gloria Estefan y
Ricky Martín entre otros.
Martha Patricia logro destacarse
en España como una representante
importante del jazz. Lleva más
de quince años creando su propia
manera de hacer música, la que
nutre de elementos de todos los
estilos conocidos y que la enmarcan
dentro del jazz contemporáneo.
Su repertorio está compuesto por
temas originales que funden toda
clase de influencias que forman un
mundo musical rico y personal.
Esta vez reaparece a la escena
colombiana para presentar su más
reciente producción “Nostalgias”
con el que se tomo tres años de
arduo trabajo acompañada del mejor
equipo de músicos; Federico Lechner
productor musical del disco, Jorge
Pardo y Carlos Benavent reconocidos
por su exitosa participación al
lado de los grandes Paco de Lucia
y Chick Corea, Antonio Serrano no 1
en la armónica, Víctor Merlo
y “El bicho” que es un de los
mejores cantaores de flamenco.

Ananias was a Christ disciple in Damascus, to whom Jesus came in a vision and gave detailed instructions including what street (Straight Street) and what house (Judas' house) to go to in order to lay hands on Saul so that Saul would receive his sight back. Jesus was telling Ananias to go help the man who came to town to throw him in prison and would like to murder him. Wow, what an instruction and what a step of obedience by a Christ follower!
Straight Street (or in Latin, Via Recta), is the Roman street that runs from east to west in the old city of Damascus. It was visited by St. Paul as mentioned in the story of Paul's conversion to Christianity in Acts 9:10-19

When Ananias arrives, he specifically addresses Saul as “brother”. What an example of the love and forgiveness that are fruit of a Christ follower’s life. Saul received his sight after Ananias (his enemy) laid his hands on him and he followed Christ that day.
