Martha A. Trejo, nació el 31 de agosto de 1983 en San Antonio Texas a los 14 años empezó escribir canciones utilizando un teclado y compuso su primera Canción en ingles titulada Babey Come Back (Babey Regresa). Más tarde ella aprendió a tocar guitarra y inspirada por Shakira decidió a escribir baladas estilo rock. Desde entonces ella se ha encerrado en su cuarto escribiendo canciones, cantando y tocando la guitarra a sus cuatro paredes. En 2003 Martha encontró Mario, Mario fue sacudido cuando él oyó la canción Las Noches y la introdujo a su grupo de rock español y de allí la ayudó a salir de su cueva. El Conejo Blanco fue el primer lugar de actuación en el que ella fue expuesta y dio el inicio al camino de un músico. Las cosas se complicaron con la banda y decidió salirse. En muchos atentos para conseguir una banda junta y fallando ella decidió trabajar sola. Para el 2006 ella había compilado un CD de 9 canciones grabadas en su dormitorio. Allí es donde MARTHA ROCKERA nació. Ella paso horas y días trabajando duro, se enseñó a usar el programa llamado fruty loops para la percusión, grabo la guitarra, bajo, voz, y teclado usando un programa llamado Cool Edit Pro. Con el equipo limitado ella pudo tocar el bajo con las primeras 2 cuerdas de su guitarra. El CD Fantasma Del Pasado fue completado. Todas las canciones representan acerca de un amante con el corazón destrozado menos Parpadear (parpadeando) que habla acerca de la vida y tomar la ventaja de ello. El tiempo ah pasado y ella casi termina sus estudios. A fines de la caída 2007 Martha tendría un Título en negocios de la Música. Por ahora ella empezará su viaje como Martha Rockera buscando a oyentes que están ansiosos de escuchar puro talento que su música tiene que ofrecer. Una mezcla de ritmos y melodías ingleses como españoles, un choque de toda clase de música del ayer y hoy, MARTHA ROCKERA está aquí para ser una leyenda.
wHO iS mARTHA rOCKERA?
Martha A. Trejo, born in San Antonio Texas in August 31, 1983 at the Age of 14 started writing music using a keyboard and came up with her first English Song called Babey Come Back. Later on she picked up a guitar inspired by Shakira she decided to write Spanish rock ballads. Ever since then she has locked in her room and kept writing songs, singing and playing guitar to her four walls. In 2003 Martha met Mario, Mario was shocked when he heard the song Las Noches and introduced her to his Spanish rock band and from there helped her come out from her shell. The White Rabbit was the first venue in which she was exposed and there started the road of a musician. Things came to a halt as Martha struggled with the band and decided to leave. In many attempts to get a band together and failing she decided to work alone. By 2006 she had compiled a CD of 9 songs recorded in her bedroom. That’s where MARTHA ROCKERA was born. She spend hours and days working hard, taught her self enough to make beats on Frooty Loops, recorded guitar, bass, vocals, and synth through cool edit pro. With limited equipment she was able to play bass from the first 2 strings of her guitar. The CD Fantasma Del Pasado (Ghost Of The Past) was completed. All songs depict about a broken hearted lover except Parpadear (blinking) which talks about life and taking advantage of it. Time has past and she’s almost done with college. At the end of fall 2007 Martha would have a Music Business Degree. For now she will begin her journey as Martha Rockera looking for listeners who are eager to listen to pure talent that her music has to offer. A blend of English and Spanish rhythms and melodies, a clash of all types of music from the now and then, MARTHA ROCKERA is here to become a legend.
