    Singer/Songwriter/Musician...I was born in Philadelphia into a family of professional entertainers. My mother, Mary Swan, a well known National recording artist appeared numerous times on "American Bandstand", My father, Pete Carroll, with his band"The Carroll Brothers"also recorded and performed in a movie with Chubby Checker. Throughout my career I have entertained across the U.S. and Canada, opening and working with well-known names from Country to Pop. I continue to focus on my writing and performing professionally. I have a unique/gutsy vocal style, and create much excitement on stage and at every performance. With my drive and ambition, I hope to become more successful. Check out my new single release to country radio,and now on iTunes " BACK TRACK" Hope you enjoy the song, and I will look forward to having you as a friend.      Marti, I'm sorry I left this out, I tried to fine your mother's first record "Love Can Be  Like This" for over 50 years, but I have all of her others.  I had a big crush on her from a distance.  I'm 71.

    Dear, Marti, To be brief, All of my family is from West Philly, and going back in my memories, I remember very clearly about kids (1950's) who went to West Philly Boys and Girls Catholic High Schools named Zwaan.  Mary Swan was Mary Zwaan, no?  The Zwaans were communicants of Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic church at 56th & Chester.  Is that your mother's family?
