About Martijn Kuilema
DJ
In 1994 Martijn started spinning. He quickly got the hang of it and was soon recognized for his technique and original record choice. Soon he got several appearances as a guest DJ in local clubs and radio stations. And not much later he became resident DJ in the best local House club for 2 nights a week.
He continued to develop well and won a major DJ contest. The years hereafter he had the honor to be part of the jury to different DJ competitions. And also, he organized his own party 'Destination Unknown', which became a big success. His talent was recognized by top DJ Ronald Molendijk who wanted to support Martijn as a DJ and producer.
Martijn is currently ready for the next step to really break through as a DJ.
Producer
Martijn has been playing music as long as he can remember. Through the years he has gained vast experience, what is now resulting in a quality sound. This results in productions in different styles, but his heart still lies mainly in House and Techno.
After several studio updates he now has a professional studio where he can do his magic.
His music is released on System Recordings, Be Yourself Music and later on his own record label Dimpleman Records.
Martijn has also partnered with talented producer RosyRoze. Together they perform as the M Lovers. They release their own productions and do remixes. For example, they did 3 successful remixes for top Australian dance act Deepface.
Label owner
After having several releases on different labels Martijn decided it was time to take things to a higher level. His goal was to be independent and to manage the whole music process by himself. So in 2008 he started the record label Dimpleman Records. The label is a perfect way to distribute the music he loves.
Martijn Kuilema has a cheerful and positive nature and this is also the guidance for Dimpleman Records. The label includes qualitative positive electronic dance music. The modern sounds are sounding great on the dance floor and are giving joy and energy.
In the future Dimpleman Records will continue to expand with more good music and great producers.
