The song 'Holy Earth' on this site is a very old demo (30 years) that was salvaged from a sole surviving cassette. Its a song I wrote in West Cork, Ireland in 1978. Its available on my album 'Seer's Songs' with ther songs written at the same time. Go to www.rainbowempire.com
Influences
Incredible String Band, Dylan, Beatles, Planxty, Jai Uttal

The album is a whole collection of songs which has a total effect in full cd quality with the lyrics included in the cd booklet.

Ever wondered what to do in the event of a nuclear threat?
A while ago I found stuff that inspired me to make this film:
Living Under the Shadow of the Nuclear Umbrella
Both artistic (ensure you get the background music!) and educational, it primarily comprises official British government civil defence advice.
Though source materials are quite aged, much remains relevant today.
I encourage all to visit the YouTube page to learn more (Show support! Rate! Comment!) and responsibly circulate as widely as possible, here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UaIim3Rj7L4

"The energy of everything flows like the great rivers of the earth, naturally rolling and splashing, slipping and spiraling through the paths of least resistance toward the swelling, dreaming sea. Our life began in the waters of our mother's living womb. Grandmother Moon pulls and releases the ocean tides and the water in our bodies allowing energy and intuition to flow freely through our feelings and our spirits. Water has memory and is alive, responding to our emotions and healing old sorrows, teaching us playfully to release and renew. Water evaporates from the sea and transpires from trees to return as cleansing, life giving rain. All life needs clean water to survive. The spirit and sacredness of water is honored by all people who respect life. Swimming or floating in pools and lakes, streams and rivers our bodies and bright spirits receive the wisdom of water, honoring our emotions, remembering the love and mysteries of our source, embraced in wholeness and serenity."
Hey Martin. Thanks for the add. Spirogyra are a great inspiration to us. I love the Medievalism meets angsty Agitprop of Songs like 'The Future Wont be Long'. When will some incarnation of the Cockerham/gyram/Spirogyra machine be playing in Ireland?
Thanks for the add Martin, and also thanks for always being a true source of inspiration. St Radigunds has always followed me and it’s because of you that I begun to love (acid/prog?) folk music. Hope to see you soon in Geneva. All the best. p
