Me and my guitar, plus a bit of Apple Mac production when I'm lonely.....
影響
My 2 kids, who in terms of songwriting have put a different perspective on life, are a big influence. Musically my influences are wide ranging, but at the moment I'm listening to the likes of Damian Rice, James Blunt, James Morrison, Daniel Bedingfield, David Ford, Dan Hill, Maroon 5, Keane, Snow Patrol, Robbie Williams, Martyn Joseph, Tony Hadley, The Eagles, Carrie Newcomer ( folk artist ), James Taylor, Sting, Simon & Garfunkel and what the *!$ yes even a bit of recent Take That.... a mix bag really....
Oh my son is into Bob The Builder, Thomas Tank Engine and Old Mcdonald......
風格近似
Someone recently told me my songs sound a bit like John Mayer. I had a listen but I'm not so sure(!)....others have likened the vocal style to Neil Diamond. Beyond that it's hard to say, best have a listen and let me know what you think......
Martin Crowley is a Poole based emerging Singer Songwriter / Guitarist ( originally from Surrey ) - currently promoting latest EP "Find Me Tonight". He often describes his music as acoustic guitar based pop/folk for adults. He's not ashamed of liking a good old feel good song, but increasingly his tracks are taking on deeper themes based on either his own life experiences or current issues, together with with a classical guitar edge to the song-writing (not surprising as he studied classical guitar from the age of 6. )
Martin has performed in numerous local venues and further afield as well as playing live on the following radio stations:
BBC Radio Solent ( Hampshire / Dorset / Isle of White )
WessexFM
ForestFM ( 92.3 FM ) Verwood based ( local artist of the month Jun 09 )
HopeFM ( Bournemouth )
Premier Radio ( National, Freeview, Sky )
"I think my latest song "Find me tonight", which you can listen to here, kind of represents who I am as a songwriter - I hope you like it. "
