Leigh Birkett is my regular collaborator these days. He is responsible for the unique and beautiful guitar, bouzouki, and other instruments, you will hear.
The other regular live member is Simon Watts, renowned fiddle player whom I've known for ever, or at least since he played with me in the Sons of Roisin in the '80's.
Leigh and I are gradually putting a larger group together, that will feature some outstanding local and international musicians in addition to the three of us. Stay tuned....
Martin has been a stalwart of the Australian Folk scene for over thirty years. His unique blend of protest songs from around the world coupled with Irish ballads and his own songs has captivated audiences across the continent.
During that time, he has played with and supported just about anyone who is anyone in the folk world. From the Dubliners and Chieftains, through Christie Moore and Andy Irvine to Mary Black and even Mick Jagger, Martin has played with ‘em all.
