We played our first show in a very long time at Martini Red at Matt Lindauer's CD release party on Saturday. Some friends from Manhattan came (!) and they all said the same thing: Martini Red made them nostalgic for the bars in the East Village like The Pyramid and King Tut's Wah Wah Hut back in the halcyon days of the '80s. We agree. We were made to feel at home by ace barkeep Kevin (thanks for the delish chicken wings!) and we haven't had this much fun in way too long a time. Thanks for having us and we hope to be back soon!
