About me:

I'm a novelist. I'm Scottish. I live in London. I write books under my own name, and I also write a series of books about Thraxas under the pseudonym of Martin Scott. My first novel came out in 1987. I've had around 16 books published. Sometimes I've been successful, sometimes not so successful. I write every day. I watch TV, listen to music, read books, and meet friends. I also struggle with agoraphobia. At the moment, the agoraphobia is winning.

My website - www.martinmillar.com

My new book, Lonely Werewolf Girl, has now
been published in Britain, the USA, and Italy.

Teenage werewolf Kalix MacRinnalch is pursued through London by murderous hunters, while in the Scottish Highlands there's trouble at Castle MacRinnalch, as the Werewolf Clan prepares for war.

Scottish thistle fairies Heather and Morag are on the loose in the city, sampling the whisky, helping the needy, and generally causing trouble everywhere.

I won the World Fantasy Award for the first Thraxas book.

I am being attacked by mechanical, fire breathing snakes on the second level of Tomb Raider Chronicles. This is shortly after being zapped by the laser eyes of some metallic floating head, and sliced by a magic-sword-wielding statue.

I do not remember this game being so difficult at such an early stage!

Bye bye for a week or so, Martin. Never fear - I will be back to religiously commandeer your blogs soon! For now, here is Lara Croft in two bikinis:

You can win these outfits on Legend. For the white bikini, successfully complete the game and all the Time Trials. For the black bikini, successfully complete the game, all Time Trials, and collect all rewards in all levels, including Croft Manor.

Unfortunately, the time trials seem impossible, as do collecting some of the rewards. And there does not seem to be any cheats to bypass these tasks. :o( Perhaps you could just buy a similar bikini and parade in front of the mirror instead.
I imagine this would also produce an astonishing effect… But maybe not quite of the same sort.

Just wanted to leave a little 'Thank You' for your blog writing - saved my day more than once.
BTW, there seems to be a giant mutant spot invasion going on in Europe, since more than 12 (!!!) ppl, all long past adolescence, reported sudden appearances of spots to me...
