Currently I'm working regulary/occasionaly with Nina Van Horn, The GL band(Fred Guillemet+Patrice Llaberia), The Big Up Band(Ronald Baker+Vic Pitts), Davyd Johnson Blues Party, Marten Ingle, Shanna Waterstown, Martha High, Janice DeRosa, Gulliver Allwood, Roby Edwards, Boney Field etc. also recently played with Fabienne Shine's regendaly Shakin' Street. Mar was born in Hiroshima, Japan. His first musical experience was piano at age 5.
He has been influenced mainly by rock 'n' roll music like the Ventures, Shadows, Creedence, Grand Funk, Jimi Hendrix, the Rolling Stones, Cream, Free, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, etc
but also by blues music like Muddy Waters, B.B.King, Albert King, Albert Collins, Freddy King, Butterfield Blues Band, Fleetwood Mac etc
soul music like Otis Redding, Aretha Franklin, Janis Joplin, Wilson Picket, etc.
and pop music like the Beatles, Beach Boys, Carpenters, Carol King, Phil Specter, Mickey Most, and deeply in Motown and Philadelphia music
Mar toured as the lead guitarist for 4 years with Big Joe Turner (bassist ex.B.B.King, Albert King & Little Milton) and numerous American blues/soul artists all over Europe and the USA. He also works with many new pop/rock artists as an arranger/guitarist.
Mar is currently based on Paris since 1999.
