About me:
DJ MARTY – PROFILEMarty started pumping dance floors in 2002 and is now considered an institution in the Auckland clubbing scene, with residencies at Hero, Chemistry, Salvation, and Fluffy (Auckland’s newest gay dance club).
His style is always fun, bouncy and energetic, including a broad range of funky, vocal house, down & dirty beats with light electro, through to vocal, uplifting and driving trance.
His preferred set includes a mix of soaring vocals combined with chunky, pumping, driving basslines. So don't expect to be sitting on the sidelines during these sets!
Marty has played at numerous top NZ dance parties over the years including Hero (2005 - 2007, Auckland), Chemistry (2007, Auckland), Salvation (2003 - 2007, Auckland), Above & Beyond (2004, Auckland), Crash London (2005, Auckland), Lange (2006, Auckland & Christchurch), Ruby (2006, Auckland), Seduction (2004 - 2007, Auckland), Mass (2005 - 2006, Auckland) and Phoenix (2007, Auckland).
He has also played alongside numerous world-class Internationals including Above & Beyond (UK), Lange (UK), Gareth Emery (GTR) (UK), Wayne G (UK), Paul Heron (UK), Jamie Head (UK), Alex Taylor (Sydney), Luke Leal (Sydney), Ruby (Sydney), Matt Steer (Brisbane) and Scott Anderson (Melbourne).
Always looking for that next challenge, Marty can’t wait to take to things to the next level, and is ecstatic with the news that he’s been picked to play trance in the Hordern at the 30th Anniversary of Mardi Gras in 2008!
