August 2006: Marty had a busy summer including the Calgary Stampede and main stage at the Camrose Big Valley Jamboree. Listen for the upcoming release of the third album track titled "Darkside", penned by Steve Fox!
Marty and brother Curtis are preparing to record two more new tracks as "Grambo Brothers". Kevin Churko will produce the tracks in his Las Vegas studio.
February 2007: Marty and brother Curtis Grambo release their first tune together! The track is called “I Liked You Better (When You Were Drinking)” and was written by Patricia Conroy and Jason McCoy and was produced by the remarkable Kevin Churko (www.kevinchurko.com). Kevin has produced such artists as Shania Twain, Dolly Parton, Celine Dion, and most recently produced the latest album by Ozzy Osbourne titled "Black Rain" The album hit number one immediately after its US release!
Bio: Combine the energy of youth with a deep respect for the backbone artists of country music, and you get the dynamic vocal soul of Marty Grambo.
Marty has 5 Saskatchewan Country Music Awards to his credit, including 3 "Male Vocalist of the Year" awards, and has appeared as a main stage performer at many national Jamborees. His first single, "Hang On For The Ride" charted at 34 and hit number one on 18 country radio stations across Canada.
For the past 2 years, Marty has been touring with his band, tightening up his show, and working diligently at the final mix of his debut album.
Recorded at Touchwood Studios in Regina and SoundEdge Productions in Saskatoon, this maiden project contains tunes from some of North America's most reputable songsmiths, including Steve Fox and Dean McTaggart as well as one tune that Marty co-wrote with songwriter Jimmy Dean.
Summer of 2005 will be a busy one for Marty, appearing at many of Canada's largest festivals including Calgary Stampede and the Camrose Big Valley Jamboree. This extensive touring will set up the album release, due in Fall of 2006.
