"The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, and wiser people so full of doubts"
Bertrand Russell - philosopher, mathematician and writer (1872-1970)

Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi - Statesman (1869-1948)

Sir John Betjeman - Poet Laureate (1906-1984)

"Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?"

I made my first video slideshow and wanted to share it with you. The musician (Elizabeth Ann Middleton) is one I found through MySpace, and she generously let me use her music to set to my images. Visit her MySpace page here - http://www.myspace.com/pianorama - she's fantastic! :-)

Marty, Thanks for a great show in Chicago. Not often I walk down the street several feet off the ground - but I did that night on my way back to the hotel. And I was sober if you can imagine that! Seriously, that's how good you guys are. Better actually. Peace - and thanks for accepting my friend request.

Man, your riff on "Reptile" has hypnotized me for 20+ years. It's so damn simple....2 notes rooted, 3 moving, a little delay...and POOF, a riff worthy of the GODS my friend. In saw you on that tour...at the Palladium in LA. Peter Murphy opened for you. You sir, were, to me the plebeian in the audience, a man possessed and possessing of talent I will never possess. Thank you for one of the greatest concert moments of my life. There are those who will bear witness...the Church is one of the best live bands in history! Thank you sir.
